Although I can not forget "the initial shock" which the seventh old silver ring gave me. indeed, as you and lixu1967 said, they are not very refined. But they are my first step in looking for old silver, which is an interesting journey. I have asked those antique dealers ,that I knew, to look out for antique silver. It is very difficult for them, more difficult than finding Chinese jade, ceramics and statues. The efforts did not came to a naught. however, as only few days ago, an elderly antiques dealer managed to help me find a "silver gilt buyao"银鎏金步摇and "silver gilt hair clasps"银鎏金发簪which he said they had been lying quietly in his shop’s cabinet for as much as thirty years.
